Powderbark Hazy Slainte is for sale as a colt or a gelding. He carries the wonderful “Hazy” line through his young imported sire, Frederiksminde Hazy Cavalier (IMP Denmark). This bloodline is new to Australia so Slainte could become a valuable stallion suitable for breeding with most connemaras in Australia.

Slainte has all the attributes which make a good stallion: he has excellent conformation, a sound temperament and a “sparkle” which makes him stand out, and he should grow well up to height. As a gelding Slainte will be an excellent performance pony and a wonderful family pony for adults and children.

Slainte’s mother, Glenormiston Cornamona (Abbeyleix Finbar (IMP Ireland) x Glenormiston Abbeylara), had an outstanding show career as a youngster and has produced excellent foals for Glenormiston Connemara Stud.  She passes on her calm temperament and trainability to her foals.

Slainte is only for sale because we are retaining his non-dilute half brother by Frederiksminde Hazy Cavalier, Powderbark Hazy Julemand, for Powderbark Stud, and we do not have the facilities to run on two colts.
