Pixie joined our stud as a brood mare after a successful showjumping and eventing career. She is a talented jumper and has huge scope, beautiful free forward movement and a strong build. Her sire, Aly Kingston, has produced many excellent eventers, and we are expecting that the progeny of Pixie and Dundrum will maintain the line of talented and trainable eventers.

Pixie is a character. She has a great range of different expressions – if she were human she would be an actor or a dancer. She is a sweet mare to handle in every way, but she is always entertaining. Dundrum is the love of her life, she gazes adoringly at him in their shared paddock and if he leaves for any reason she calls pathetically until he returns when she has a very happy energetic reunion with lots of prancing and a huge range of welcoming noises.

Pixie is in foal to Glenormiston Dundrum and her foal is due in November 2014.
