Pedigree

Leonie was the ultimate brood mare.  She loved her foals, carried, bore and raised them easily, and was happy to take on babysitting duties while other mares were somewhere else.  She had been injured as a youngster so had never been ridden, but her pedigree is impeccable and she had real presence which all her foals have inherited. She was an undemanding, easy mare to handle and she is now buried in a special place on our property with her very own trees.  The foals she had for us, Mr C, Matilda Bay, Reilly, Morse and Dalgliesh are all developing well.
